Cute. That’s what I think after finishing A Rather Lovely Inheritance by C.A. Belmond. It’s been a long while since I’ve read a romantic suspense, though this was light on the suspense, light on the romance too. Penny Nichols goes to London to the reading of the will of her Great Aunt Penelope. Various family members are there, each wanting certain things, each hiding a little secret, and Penny in her somewhat bumbling but cute way, gets in the middle of things, but solves all the immediate problems.
Perfect for a rainy afternoon with a cup of tea and the desire to read but not think too much.
