Cliffside Park’s first public library opened on June 11, 1913, with a total collection of 1,435 books. It was located in a small room in School # 3. For many years the library moved from place to place within Schools # 3 and # 4, until finally the present library was built and was dedicated on October 15, 1967. Now our library has a collection of more than 65,000 items, including best-seller fiction and non-fiction books, children’s books, books on tape or on CD’s, magazines, videos, DVD’s, music on compact discs, CD-Rom programs, books in other languages, and much more.ARCHIVES
